Glorify God - We seek to glorify God in all activities and relationships as well as in the use of the resources God has given us. Our Christian faith in God is woven into the fabric of Covenant, its classes, clubs, activities, rehearsals, performances, practices, and games.
Partnership - We view education as a partnership between faculty, staff, students, parents, alumni, and board members. Covenant is a community where we work together and encourage one another to achieve our individual and common goals. Open communication is central to this partnership.
Truth - We acknowledge absolute truth, as revealed in God's Word, and its relevance to our lives. Covenant’s teachers and staff are committed to helping students discover the truth and think critically in the classroom and in real life.
Respect - Each person is created in God's image and therefore is treated with respect. Respect is at the foundation of all we do - respect for one another and for one another’s ideas.
Excellence - Continuous improvement and the pursuit of excellence underlies all that we do – academically, creatively, and athletically. It is our goal to help each student, faculty, and staff member achieve his or her very best.
Honesty - Our relationships and academic performance are based on honesty and fairness. Covenant is a safe place. Our work is safe from being copied. There is trust between the students and faculty. We compete fairly and with integrity.
Statement of Faith
1. We believe the Bible to be inspired, the only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:21).
2. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1; Matthew 28:19; John 10:30).
3. We believe in the deity of Christ (John 10:33); His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:35); His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15; Hebrews 7:26); His miracles (John 2:11); His vicarious and atoning death (I Corinthians 15:3; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 2:9); His resurrection (John 11:25; I Corinthians 15:4); His Ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19); and His personal return in power and glory (Acts 1:11; Revelation 19:11).
4. We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature; and that people are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ and that only by God’s grace and through faith alone are we saved (John 3:16-19; John 5:24; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:8-9; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:5).
5. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation (John 5:28-29).
6. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 8:9; I Corinthians 12:12-13; Galatians 3:26-28).
7. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life (Romans 8:13-14; I Corinthians 3:16; I Corinthians 6:19-20; Ephesians 4:30; Ephesians 5:18).
8. We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as either male or female, and that these two distinct, complementary sexes together reflect the image and nature of God (Gen. 1:26-27).
9. We believe that God created marriage to be exclusively the union of one man and one woman, and that intimate sexual activity is to occur exclusively within that union (Gen. 2:18-25; 1 Cor. 6:18; 7:2-5; Heb.13:4).
Final Authority for Matters of Belief and Conduct
The statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, is the sole and final source of all that we believe. For purposes of Covenant Christian School’s faith, doctrine, practice, policy, and discipline, our school administration and board of trustees are the school's final interpretive authority on the Bible’s application.
Monolithic Domes meet FEMA standards for providing near-absolute protection and have a proven ability to survive tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, most manmade disasters, fire, termites and rot.
They are cost-efficient, earth-friendly, extremely durable and easily maintained. Most importantly, a Monolithic Dome uses about 50% less energy for heating and cooling than a same-size, conventionally constructed building.

The safe room will accommodate nearly 700 local emergency, fire, and utilities personnel as well as residents registered on the State of Texas Emergency Assistance Registry (STEAR).
The structure will be located in an area of high elevation reducing the risk of flood, and will provide a central, established location for the identified population. By establishing a known location that is accessible and built to protect against 200+ mph winds, emergency personnel, officials, and first responders can better plan and prepare for future disaster response.
When the facility is not needed for first responder collaboration in the event of an emergency, the dome will serve as a gymnasium for CCS.
The greater Houston area can have assurance knowing first responders are collaborating and prepared to take action in the event of an emergency. Montgomery County alone has a growing population of more than 570,900 individuals and a growth rate of 10% in the last 8 years alone.
All current and future residents, business owners, and properties within Montgomery County and surrounding areas will benefit from the operations that will be conducted out of the safe room.
Location outside of but near vulnerable area: CCS is located just outside of the areas that are most vulnerable to storm surge and flooding. It is not close to any major rivers or low-lying areas that might make it susceptible to being cut-off by rising waters. It is a safe location to muster first responders and other emergency equipment that is needed in the immediate aftermath of a major storm. CCS offers close access to the major population and industrial centers of the Houston region.
Accessibility to major transportation corridors: CCS's location on the southbound feeder of I-45 allows for easy access to major roads and highways. CCS also has close access to SH 105, which provides major highway access to Austin. The Grand Parkway, Hardy Toll Road, and Sam Houston Tollway all offer alternate access around the Houston region, including access to critical industrial areas and medical centers.
Close to major airport: With the recent extension of the main runway at Conroe Regional Airport, CCS offers close access to a major airport that can accommodate large supply aircraft. A military helicopter base is also located nearby.
FEMA requires that 80% of the overall floor plan be designed as an open space for it to meet the needs of the first responders. Due to this requirement it is common for these safe rooms to be outfitted as gymnasiums. The two locker rooms included in the design will provide much needed utilities to those working in the safe room during emergency use.
CCS is responsible for collaborating with Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) and FEMA to develop a detailed Operations and Maintenance Plan that will ensure that all equipment, supplies, and signage are installed and operational for the first responders.

Assistance is offered by Covenant Christian School in partnership with generous donors. CCS utilizes FACTS Grant & Aid (FG&A) to streamline the financial aid assessment process. Families submit an application and supporting documents such as tax returns and W-2 through a secure portal, and FG&A makes recommendations to CCS based on data collected. In addition to FG&A's recommendations, each family's financial and personal situation is considered.
Please know that we have the utmost respect for your privacy, and all information is held in strict confidence.
Financial assistance may be awarded annually to assist with payment of tuition. Tuition assistance is only for tuition and does not cover application/enrollment fees, student fees, or other optional or required fees.
Tuition assistance is based upon the availabilty of school resources and the amount of verified tuition assistance needs each school year.
